All the Colors of God
On Thursday, September 10, the film *ALL THE COLORS OF GOD* premieres. The film is, first and foremost, a heartwarming documentary by director Jannik Splidsboel about a community for those who are otherwise on the outside.
The film will be shown at Tobaksgaarden. As a prelude to the screening, museum curator Tea Dahl Christensen from Museum ERNST will give a short talk, offering a very local perspective on how the museum approaches queer provincial history and explaining why this work has proven to be particularly important right now.
About the film:*ALL THE COLORS OF GOD* takes us behind the scenes with the progressive pastor Viggo and the sexton Bo—better known in his colorful persona as Ramona Macho. We follow their work at Enghave Church, where everyone is embraced with warmth and serenity, regardless of background or life situation, but also their struggle for a church that is open to all. The church faces daily opposition from conservative voices and serves as both a sanctuary and a battlefield. Through music, rituals, and everyday life, powerful, personal stories unfold about faith, identity, and the right to belong.
About Tea: Tea Dahl Christensen, a museum curator and Ph.D., is the author of the critically acclaimed book *Queer in the Provinces*, which was published in January, and works daily on outreach and research into Danish queer provincial history at Museum ERNST.
