Take a garden walk in Frederik Ernst's Garden
On the weekend of September 6th and 7th, Haveselskabet is hosting this year's Garden Festival. Here you can visit beautiful fall gardens all over Denmark - including our museum garden Frederik Ernsts Have, which is open both days from 10-16.
The Italian-inspired courtyard was designed by silverware manufacturer Frederik Ernst. The garden is a green oasis surrounded by the former factory buildings and the manufacturer's private residence. Come and enjoy the tranquility of the garden - listen to the murmur of the fountain and watch the sunlight hit the water lilies in the pool.
On the occasion of the Garden Festival, we have made a small folder that tells the story of Frederik Ernst's Garden. You can get the leaflet at the ticket office in Museum ERNST. Buy a cup of coffee in Café ERNST and enjoy it in the garden while you learn more about the small museum garden.
It is FREE to visit Frederik Ernst's Garden. Should you want to explore silverware manufacturer and collector Frederik Ernst's marvelous universe of antiques, porcelain and art - staged by him - you can of course buy a ticket to the exhibition at Museum ERNST.
